The Walking Dead - S3 Episode 4

Comments

I remember unsubbing back when you were posting the season 2 reactions because you guys kept talking during emotional scenes, and I'm all for banter or whatever but just pause the show. Also it's a pet peeve of mine when people talk about the acting during a scene because it breaks the immersion. Like just watch the show and be there in it, stop taking yourself out of it. The bets are fine or whatever but it just feels like you lose an emotional attachment to the show when everything is just a joke.

labour takes hours LOL Blatantly not dilated. What was she thinking? Oh wait, it's Lori, she's incapable of thinking When Rick started crying I had to laugh because i remembered this 13 year old meme https://i.imgur.com/G3LWFeT.jpg I laughed and then felt bad

Out of no where brandon flips thw script, and starts making the bad bets

DTG oFF

I mean after so many seasons especially. Shane is small potatoes.

DTG oFF

OH LMFAO, I paused too early 🤣

Best acting at the end, loved it, great reaction!

Great call out of the death of Carls innocence in a way even though one can argue it’s been gone due to their new reality since season 1

Jackson Twins

I feel like I have seen that way back when and didn’t even realize

Jackson Twins

That Rick no no no scene became a meme for so many years lol

This is truly one of my favorite seasons, this and next season. When the season forest started I was missing Shane but the governor introduction made me forget about Shane pretty quickly

Zombie lore ain’t a thing in the show.

Man the subtle acting in Rick's reaction at the end is SO GOOD. There's so much subtext frame-by frame. There's the concern for Lori, the change to the look of denial, the shock at Maggie stopping him... Then he sees Carl. More importantly he sees that Carl has the stare. I think it's harder for people without severe trauma experience to pick up on it, but Rick can tell that Carl is dissociating, and his hands are covered in blood. So when Rick looks at Carl, not only is he forced to accept that Lori is dead but now he's thinking about what Carl had to go through and he's kind of mourning Lori's death and the death of Carl's childhood at the same time. I also love how he starts stumbling around a little after like he's looking but he doesn't know what he's looking for. Like something has to show up to make it make sense. god what an incredible scene

Yup zombie lore wasn’t a thing in this world, No movies or shows about people dying and coming back to life eating people. Which is why Rick was so confused when Morgan was explaining everything when they first met in Ep1

Tyah

Absolutely amazing reaction 🔥

Simon

this season is so good

Tre

yeah it's just like a logical conclusion. nobody calls them zombies, which is the obvious thing to call them. so in this world zombie lore must just not be a thing

Dale Diaz

So Brandon is correct🤣the term zombie basically doesn’t exist in this. I think in the walking dead world there are no zombie movies or anything like that. I’m not 1000 percent sure about this but when he apocalypse started no one said anything about zombies
