I will be honest, I was not fully able to understand every game that they were playing but got the gist of it lol!

Some good animes I've watched: My Hero Academia (as you mentioned), BOFURI (I don't want to get hurt so I'll max out my defense!), FairyTail, Fire Force, and Sword Art Online (This one is pretty dark right from the beginning though and it's a series of shows).
