When robots won't do and humanoids are a liability, go for the slightly lower castes of the food chain perhaps.

もし、自分の目的に疑問を持たず、忠実で、基本的に頼まれた仕事しかせず、自分の存在を自覚している労働力の需要があるとしたらどうだろう。ロボットがダメで、ヒューマノイドが足手まといになるような場合は、食物連鎖の少し下位の種族を狙えばいい。
