A mid-month update from YuuriVoice!

Hello again, and happy holidays everyone!

There has been a massive influx of new patrons this month, so I want to take a moment to thank all of you for coming here to Patreon to support me during this tumultuous time. With everything going on with Tumblr's policy change, December could have been an outright disaster. Thanks to you, things are quite the opposite, and that means the world to me.

Before I get into the update-y things, I have a question for you! If you're new here, did you come from Tumblr or YouTube? There has been a massive push on YouTube this month, so I'd like to sniff out if the majority of the new Patrons were from Tumblr's apocalypse, or if there's a big portion who have found me through this big month on YouTube. Feel free to leave that in the comments below.

Lotor joins the ranks of the YouTube boys! This month has been massive for my channel and is setting the tone for what is yet to come in 2019...speaking of which, let's talk about that.
I am currently transitioning to a point where new audios will debut on YouTube, then be posted in full here on Patreon. The early access of the $5 tier will work as it always has, with the audio being posted to that tier at least 3 days in advance.
There is going to be a significant push for original characters on YouTube. I don't want to spoil things just yet, but the Naga audio was the first taste of the direction I'm trying to go in. There will be all sorts of boys ranging from human to supernatural to out of this world, and I'll be taking my vocal recordings to the next level with special effects that increase the immersion even further!
This doesn't mean that our favorite boys of the past are going away, or that new characters from video games/anime/beyond won't make appearances. There will still be the content you know and love, but I do feel that I need to bunker down and get serious about the original character thing.
In particular, I intend to get some Axel from Kingdom Hearts audios cooked up and released throughout January!
I made a post the other day talking about "Special Offers", and it looks like I will be pursuing the special post card thing I discussed there in January. No more details than that for now, but when January hits I'll make a post about it right away explaining how you can be a part of my 2 year anniversary on Patreon!
In 2019 I'm going to be working even harder to find skilled individuals to bring in and step up my game. Artists, animators, writers, designers, sound editors. I'm a very shy guy (oh the irony) so reaching out to people and networking like that isn't always easy, but I'm going to do my best to create the best possible experience I can for all of you.

If I can be honest with you all, I feel like I fell short in 2018. I know it's easy to pat me on the shoulder and say "hey you did great!" but I had really big goals for this year that I don't think I came even close to hitting. I want to assure you that as we go into this new year, the struggles that were weighing me down are out of my way, and I have a renewed sense of determination that is going to take the entire YuuriVoice project to the next level. If I let anyone down this year, I am very sorry. Trust me when I say that in 2019 I don't just intend to make up for lost time, I intended to blow expectations out of the water and soar to even greater heights.
