Something About Tumblr (Update & Rant)

If not, here is a post detailing the timeline of events and a neater collection of my thoughts. However, if you want HOT, RAW LOCALS IN YOUR AREA...and by "locals in your area" I mean unfiltered thoughts on the matter, here's 22 minutes of me discussing the situation at length and trying to make sense of the whole ordeal.
I say this at the end, but I'll say it here as well: I'm happy to answer any questions or talk to you about it here in the comments. I complain a bit about the wave of anon messages I received about the whole thing, but answering YOUR questions here is a different matter altogether.
Anywho, I really needed to just talk about this, like, physically talk about it. Thank you for hearing me out.

The lack of people actually READING the updates I was posting physically pained me. The post where I finally went in and broke down the whole situation step by step by step was what finally worked, but wow. Yikes.

2018-11-27 16:41:02 +0000 UTCI’m glad that the awful blogs and people and I completely agree with that, another person I am a patron for has had their tumblr deleted and they have nothing like the horrible things that are currently getting removed, I think if they did know the true facts they would have left by their own choice. I know for certain they would have. I am hoping that they are able to find another platform for their art, hopefully not Deviant Art because that place is a bloody hot bed for bigots. Thank you for explaining everything and talking about this. I know it’s a stressful time and I hope that people actually READ your posts on tumblr because the crap those awful people were posting needs to be removed from all media.

I mean, I suspected there was "filth" on there, because it's the internet and there will always be monsters, but "original content"? That's terrifying... ...Part of me hopes things will work out on tumblr, because everyone has a soft spot for the places they spent their youth, even when it's a garbage fire, but I wouldn't be surprised if they nuked it from orbit. Maybe something good will grow from the irradiated ashes, but I doubt it. This is a death knell I've heard before. Well. Even if the whole thing gets burned down, I'm still following you on twitch, the podcast, youtube, and I'll keep supporting you here, man.
