[PSA] Star☆Screamers

This is basically a new project that has been on my mind for months. I've finally decided on character designs, so I started to draw them.

I've been hooked (maybe even addicted) to GTA 5 for a while now, so if I can't stop and focus on drawing again, why not put all those wasted hours to use? Also, why not change the pace of my drawings to a more sketched and loose style as well? For a while I've been struggling with the straight-forward and manga-esque approach to inking and colouring (example in first image). A very arduous process that takes a lot of time and not always yielded the result I was hoping for. It has brought my drawing to almost a grinding halt. To motivate myself, I started to ignore the inking and colouring and just started sketching instead, worked from a base and went with rough lines. In this post you can find a lot of examples of some unrefined results, which may look really really rough. However, I think this will be the basis on which I'll be heading forward with on the Star☆Screamers project. Don't worry! I'll definitely try my best to refine this style into something smooth -unless the scene requires grittiness!

Star☆Screamers will be mostly be based off GTA and related stuff (crime and such), as series like Gunsmith Cats and police action/car chase movies have always been of great interest to me entertainment wise. So, cars, girls and action will be the staple of this project. All hopefully possible at a high pace of production, less stress and more room for lewds too! Because let's face it, lewds is where it's ultimately at.

Characters for now have been established as:
- Big lewd lady boss;
- Muscle mechanic wild girl;
- Brainy computer brat;
- Probably a few organised rival organisations with interesting characters as well.

No names have been given yet, but as per usual in my works I have a sort of standard where they'd be originating from (Super Eurobeat artist names). This time I'll be sure to match the names to the feelings of the songs produced under those pseudonyms.

As for KYTHERA, I won't abandon it until the comic is done, and pages will be made in between. But for now, Star☆Screamers has become my motivation to draw. I'm very sure some will be worried or even upset by this and I'm sorry for that. However, for myself I have decided on this and it's a big weight off my chest to write this down as well.

Anyway, I hope you understand my decision and I won't blame anyone for leaving at this point. However, drawing output will increase and who knows what's to come next! It's a new adventure!
