This week

Hello everyone,

Sorry about the lack of interaction and lack of posting illustrations this week. I've been having a hard time probably with closing off KYTHERA; Lost Lands and getting it prepped for the printers. Following below is my train of thoughts at the moment. It's maybe a bit incoherent, but this helps me a bit to get things straightened out. Parts in bold may be interesting to read.

My mind keeps focusing on the designs for the next chapter, as well as filling in a few extra pages for this release. I know these are all excuses, but this week they've been hampering process a bit more than I anticipated. As well, I feel like I've been sitting at my desk in front of my drawing tablet for too many hours per week and have lost my writing abilities and feel like I've been lacking in communication with the gross part of my supporters.

Hence, I think I should take some time every now and then to change working environments to do something else than just pump out drawings. For those of you actively following my Discord or Picarto channel, you know I log a lot of drawing hours each week. Probably more than a regular working week. However, there should also be time to write, and I think for the next chapter to proceed even more successfully, I need to balance things out.

So, on my list to do -next to finalising KYTHERA; Lost Lands, is to make character profiles and write some backstories about the setting. These may be long or short or whatever. Regarding this, what insight would you like to have regarding the KYTHERAverse? Things are all in my mind, but because I'm not someone who writes things down, it might not all be clear to you guys and gals.

A next point would be to review my goals for this Patreon... I was thinking of reviving The Secret Checkup, but that can only happen when there is enough initiative. Another one is adjusting the Waifu (anime characters in latex) poll thing. There seems to be less and less input for ideas, which makes me feel like almost anything will do, hence this weeks decision on having a Pokemon theme. I'm not sure what change there could be yet, but it's too much fun to abandon this concept though! :)

Anyway, I hope you aren't missing my output too much this week...
