Added 2016-09-19 16:38:06 +0000 UTCIn the world of KYTHERA, there are different methods of dealing with crime than you're used to. Somehow it's also more acceptable as a humanitarian method. Instead of just 'doing time' (a.k.a. being held hostage until the set penal time is over), there is also an alternative where the convicted is sentenced to labour or social services.
The latter can be of rather interesting nature where the convicted performs corporal duties or serves as a 'punching bag' (with usually no chance of physical injury). One of those sentences is the 'receiving', were the convicted has to perform adult services to a selected public (which can also be convicts) that have to 'deliver'. In some cases, the delivering can be more exhausting and demanding than the receiving end.
In this image, the execution of such a receiving and delivering duty is depicted. Usually this is used as a penalty for petty crime. More serious cases which can lead to lifelong sentences are far less pleasant of nature.
