Dominion Orderly Forces (test)
Added 2016-09-14 01:33:43 +0000 UTCA little illustration I wanted to do of the D.O.F. (Dominion Orderly Forces). The Dominion is the all-powerful authority (or so they claim) in the KYTHERA universe, that control the politics, laws, economics and eventually everybody's well-being and lives. They rule with the premise of wealth, free trade, but limit any political opposition (in fact, they have abolished democracy). Woe on those those who oppose the Dominion!

The Dominion rules the central system with a steady hand and has a very stable rule of law within their core sphere of influence. When going farther away from their sphere of influence, corruption and rogue elements are more affluent, unless concerning an important location of interest. This mostly regards large mining bodies, strategic fallout positions, production sites (such as factories) and traffic interchanges.
Due to the massive size of this organization, the internal workings are a mystery and what is released as news by the governing bodies is usually the only news. All other news is automatically and sometimes manually filtered and anything and anyone who is a threat to the existing balance of The Dominion is being dealt with. This can be through direct (e.g. intimidation, kidnapping) or indirect intervention (e.g. limiting social benefits, voting rights, deleting personal files, limiting movement, etc.).
Through keeping the wealth high and the majority of the population pleased, squabbles on the farther ends of the sphere of influence are rarely discussed, ignored and even dismissed as rebel propaganda. However, within the sphere of influence of The Dominion, opposition is rarely met with lethal force, but with intense correctional penalties to force and embrace the Dominion, rather than waste human life.
