MOP Classic: Worgen Can Escape Gilneas Again
Added 2025-09-07 19:01:42 +0000 UTCDuring Cataclysm Classic and the launch of the The War Within Blizzard made it impossible for Worgen to escape from Gilneas.
Sometime during launch it became possible to do this again in MOP classic: though sadly not on retail-indeed an extra barrier has been put in place there.
Escaping Gilneas in MOP Classic is very easy: you use the same method as the great explorer Wizard Trokair developed many years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJxN8bwkCeA
The only differences are: unstuck does not exist in the game in the same way, so you must get your character killed in a different way at the start. Complete the two initial quests to spawn hostile mobs and then kite them into the northeast of Merchant Square, and let them kill you.
You should then resurrect outside the Cathedral and follow Trokair's original route. You no longer have to use log out +alt f4, simply go to the location Trokair shows and your character will die automatically, you will then spawn in Westfall.
