Original "Charlie the Unicorn" dialogue session
Added 2022-05-15 01:03:03 +0000 UTCThis is the full audio of me recording the dialogue for "Charlie the Unicorn" on November 16th, 2005. This is unedited, and without any pitch shifting or effects.
There are a few unique things about this recording:
- Every character was recorded at the same time. I almost never record multiple characters in one session, as it is much easier to focus on just one character's performance rather than switching between them line by line.
- I only did two or three takes per line. Usually I record many, many takes so that I have more choices in editing.
One thing that is not unique is the paper script you can hear me handling. To this day I still prefer reading off a paper script when I record rather than looking at a screen. There's something about a physical script that makes the production feel more real!
