Apologies and update!

Hello everyone!

My sincerest apologies for neglecting this Patreon for so long. A number of projects (the Charlie finale in particular) fell significantly behind schedule, and even though I was working all day every day it wasn’t enough to keep up with all my obligations. I am doing what I can to manage my time better, and I plan on focusing on this Patreon a lot more. So expect to see more updates here, and thank you so much for sticking with me during my absence!

As an apology for my disappearance, I’ve attached a PDF of the complete 87-page script for my abandoned 2006 “Spatula Madness” animated feature. Not all of it is great, but if you ever wanted to know what that movie was going to be about, now’s your chance!

Also, any backer who was at the $25 level *at any point* from January-May of this year will be receiving something extra from me in their next mailing, to make up for the unfulfilled rewards. This includes backers who are no longer at the $25 level, but were at some point during that time. If that’s you, and your address has changed, be sure to let me know!

IMPORTANT: There’s a few changes I’m making to the tier levels, to make things a bit more manageable for me:

$1 - This will be staying the same - access to the Patreon feed.

$3 - Instead of doing commentary tracks, I am going to be releasing a monthly Patreon-only podcast discussing the latest videos, and various FilmCow things that are in the works! The commentary tracks were always a bit awkward to record and listen to, so hopefully this will be more accessible and interesting! The first episode will be going up in the next two weeks.

$5 - Script and raw art files. Each time I release a video, I will also release various files from the production, including the script, uncompressed art files, and other items. 

$10 - This level is now for a special thanks in a monthly update video on the main FilmCow YouTube channel. I want to be doing a better job communicating with my viewers, and so each month I’ll be posting an update video to YouTube, answering questions and explaining the current goings-on with the channel. Everyone who backs at $10+ will be personally thanked in these videos! IMPORTANT: If you would like to opt-out and not be thanked, but still back at $10 a month, you can select the $5 reward and set your pledge to $10. If you’re backing at a higher level and don’t want to be thanked, or backed last month and don’t want to be thanked in the upcoming video, let me know!

$15 - I’m adding a tier! Each month I will be mailing all $15+ patrons a FilmCow trading card, featuring a different character each time. These cards will only ever be available through this Patreon, and each card will only ever be printed that one month. And yes, they will ship internationally!

$25 - Each month, in addition to the trading card, you will also receive a signed drawing, by me, of a spooky ghost. I love drawing ghosts, and would love to draw a ghost for you.
