Language Conditioning: Daisy could be conditioned to speak only Farsi, losing her ability to understand English.
Rebellion Against Conservatism: Despite being forcibly indoctrinated with Shia Islam, Daisy could ultimately rebel against the conservative values, with this rebellion serving as a final twist after her transformation.
Gradual Integration into Traditional Muslim Roles: Daisy could be made to be drawn to the idea of not working, finding comfort in the traditional role of a Muslim wife, leading her to defer to men for more privileges, and ultimately becoming more involved in the mosque and the teachings of the Quran to fit in with her community.

I would add that I would like to see her actually become “officially Muslim”, too. Bit unusual to be sort of “halfway”, with the hijab compulsion, but not being a true Muslim yet, but definitely makes for an interesting “jumping-off” point!

2024-08-11 15:19:01 +0000 UTCI would vote for a try to rebel but i would have her fail and fully become what the conditioning aims for. She is a born again Christian to start with so she is against rebelling in general, the conditioning would build on that to break her.
