A crack in space-time...
Added 2014-03-29 21:20:45 +0000 UTCMost of the time in our videos when someone teleports or some sort of rip in the fabric of time happens you'll hear a similar sound effect. Many years ago I recorded more than a thousand sounds for use in the FilmCow videos, and one of them was a shelf in my old oven being pulled out. I've attached that sound to this post, unprocessed. It's a pretty extreme sound, and I thought that by adding a huge amount of reverb and some electrical effects it could sound like a teleportation. So, from 2007's "World of Dentists" all the way through "Llamas with Hats 5", that recording has been used whenever time or space is being manipulated in the FilmCow universe.
