Summer Update

Hi everyone! Just a little update on what things are going to look like for the rest of the summer.

We're approaching the end of Bottle Blondes. I'm a bit melancholic about it, as I love this cast, but I'm also not willing to push the story past it's natural end. And the natural end is almost here. Two, maybe three more chapters (we'll see; I'm still very early in the writing of chapter 13 so it's tough to say for sure). After that, I'm pretty sure that's the end of the story. I'll never say never about a sequel, but I'd need to be able to justify it.

Bottle Blondes should take me to August at least, at which point things will shift for me. I'm not planning on starting a new story right away. Couple of reasons for that. For one, all the ideas I have for stories are a bit half baked, and since I'm apparently writing 150k word novels now, I need to make sure I really love the story before I commit to it. For another, I have other things outstanding!

I'm mentally committing to myself to get covers and edits done for both Bottle Blondes and Under Stagelights in order to self-pub. I meant to do that with Stagelights forever ago, and I just need to actually do it. I'd like to get both of them out by the end of the year, but I'd also like to do some extra work on cleaning up Stagelights since I wrote it in a very short period of time. It's a bit messy.

Both of those, when finished and ready for publishing, will be free to download here. I have also had people ask about signed copies of Bottle Blondes, which I would love to figure out how to do for patreon members who wanted to purchase a hard copy. I'd probably have to do the shipping myself, so it's one of those things that might only work in the United States, and I'd need to figure out a P.O. box, but I think there's probably a way to do it.

Beyond that, I'll be trying to finish up Connecticut Winters and Second Base. Both come from the Rhiannon era where I was not writing eggfic and mostly writing straight smut. They also come from an era when my writing was just rougher around the edges. All that said, I have a lot of love for them and they're both not far off from endings. I intend to finish them.

I also would love to write some short stories, but those tend to blossom into longer ones so... who knows.

Anyway, there's still plenty of Bottle Blondes for now, and things may change down the road, but this is the plan as things stand! Thanks as always for supporting me, it means a lot.
