The Plan
Added 2025-04-29 03:51:28 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I want to broadly describe my plan here, and also ask to see what people would like.
Essentially, I'm looking to start small with this. I don't want to lock anything permanently behind a paywall to start, especially not anything that's ongoing. That means all my currently active Scribblehub stories will still be updating on Scribblehub until they're finished. Those stories will, however, appear here first (at this point, the aim is a week of exclusivity here before moving on to Scribblehub).
Unless things go crazy, this will probably not replace my need to work for The Man, as it were, so I'm also not trying to stretch myself too thin. But I get fleeting ideas, write little short stories, and I think it'd be nice to put them here as a benefit for those who want to give me a little extra support.
In addition! When I polish and publish finished bits of work (in this case, I'm hoping to put up a cleaner, publishable version of Under Stagelights on itch.io), the files will be downloadable here for free.
I've got some other ideas as well, and if people have input on what they'd like to see I'd be all ears! I could make a Discord if people would like a place to discuss things. I could put up full length versions of my WIPs on epub for download. I could dig up some cut scenes, some parallel versions of early drafts (this one is more tenuous; I'm not always so good as saving things, and the things I do save tend to be... well, they tend to be quite rough).
Really, I want to give you something for your support. So, I'm all ears! But, for now, early chapters are the plan.

I do like the epubs, if only because I like to read on my kindel. I wouldn't say no to a discord server either, although that comes with a fair bit of commitment on your part, so I'd understand wanting to forgo that.
