This chapter concludes Cregan's efforts to capture Bloodstone, ending with his battle with Aeron at the fort from which he commands. This is also the last chapter focusing on capturing islands in the Stepstones. (For now)

I mean, I get it. I don’t have to like it, but this endless fight scenes are just too much. The plot trickles by in millimetres and the „betrayal“ was teased so much since Cregan met Ryndoon that I thought it must have been a red herring of sorts. But no, it wasn’t. I like your style and the premise of the story, but this has to get wrapped up soon and the plot must move on. A good example, in my opinion, is the story „Legends Never Die“ from „ideasguy“. At the start he portrays every battle and fight in a good amount of detail but over the course of the story condenses the fights and battle scenes significantly to advance the story. I get that you have a plan for your story but for me it just gets boring.

2025-05-16 13:56:47 +0000 UTCHoly what a cliff hanger! Man Ryndoons got me so angry I want to kill him myself. I’m assuming it was Edric that’s going to save Cregan, here’s hoping he doesn’t loose anyone. He definitely needs to clean house when he wakes up, Garvy and all the other scum.
