3.04 Training and Interruptions Mk1
Added 2024-04-11 11:00:09 +0000 UTCThe draft version of chapter 4 of Book 3 of A New Player in the Force.
In this, Cam, Anakin, and Simvyl train with a Matukai Instructor, and then once the training is over, leave the planet intent on heading to their next destination.
As always, comments and ideas are welcome here or on Discord. Also, do note that spotting grammar/spelling mistakes isn't necessary. I don't pay any attention to those in 1st drafts.

I was so taken aback by the kidnapping scene. I honestly was hoping it was a nightmare for Cam, until it really sunk in that Anakin was taken. Hopefully this doesn't leave Anakin injured too much, emotionally or physically. Plus, Hondo!!!

2024-04-21 03:42:54 +0000 UTCFor book 3 there's new cover art. Both on FFN and Royal Road. Though on RR, it's just a section of the overall story, not a separate story. I think for ANP, a lot of people don't enjoy the first book, myself included when I look back on it. However, going back and 'cleaning it up' would derail me from Book3, so it has to stay in its flawed form. As for tags, I'll check with Mand'alor (one of those who helps with the story) about which tags would be worthwhile adding.

2024-04-12 01:25:17 +0000 UTCYeah, maybe not the best word to describe it. What I mean by “Rebranding” is: a new cover image. A new synopsis, perhaps more tags on RR. Your story is great, but I’ve encountered enough “hidden gems” to know sometimes people pass over a story initially because their perception of it does not seem appealing at first. For example, there is a story on RR and scribble hub called “Deathworld Commando: Reborn” and I skipped over reading it multiple times while looking for a new story to read. I just recently tried it and have been loving reading it. But the cover and synopsis did not appeal to me which is why I didn’t try it
