To sell or keep?
Added 2022-05-03 01:04:51 +0000 UTCIn the latest chapter of Game of Kingdoms, a certain lord offers Cregan 1 million dragons to buy RED RAIN. Should Cregan accept it or not?
Bear in mind that Tywin won't be happy if Cregan refuses unless Cregan can suggest an alternative (which I and my co-author have already considered just in case)
Also, Valyrian steel is, beyond useful against the threat of the Others, an impressive status symbol and, as seen already, in this work, able to cut through regular steel with apparent ease.

Keeping the sword at this point is pride based, and while he is a bastard the sword is now his by the rules of the Ironborn and by conquest. To sell it before being able to use/master it would play into the greedy bastard trope that the lords of Westeros love so much. I feel they would dislike him even further if he were to sell it. While who cares what they think pride, honor and his deeds is all a bastard has for he has no name to back him. Getting rid of the proof of his honor for gold would lower his standing in the eyes of the North and not to mention that Dorne would be livid that a son of Dorne would dare give the Lannisters anything they wanted even for a million dragons.
