Stephanie's Big Secret - Chapter 2

It was awkward. When Stephanie arrived at the small rented house the next week-end, ready to party like mad at the music festival in Napa valley, she didn’t forget that all of her friends actually knew about her big secret. They were all there, regrouped for a party occasion, and once they settled in the house they all sat in the living room.

“I am so happpppppy!” said Kim.

“Yeah this is going to be the best party ever!” said Jade.

“We’re going to have to do something about you Steph.” Said Cindy. All eyes turned towards Stephanie who barely knew what to say.

“About me?” said Stephanie.

“Oh come on girl, it’s going to be the time of your life!” said Christine.

“What do you mean?” asked Stephanie.

“What I mean, is that we have a special surprise just for you!” said Christine smiling. All the girls kinda smiled. Stephanie looked at them unsure. The uncomfortable silence was prolonged as Kim got something out of her bag, a pill bottle, then another. She showed up the first bottle, containing a few dozen pills.

“This one is for us! We’re gonna fly on the waves of sounds girls, and we’re gonna dance like crazy!” said Kim shaking up the drugs. She then showed up the second bottle of pills and looked at Stephanie. “These, however, are for you. Shrinking pills!” said Kim, chuckling.

“Wohooo!” said Cindy.

“Can I be the first one?” said Jade.

“Hey, I am supposed to go first!” said Christine.

“Shrinking pills?” asked Stephanie.

“Yup! You, my secret foot fetish friend, are going to be partying….inside our sneakers.” Said Kim. “You’re gonna be so small, we won’t even feel you, and you’ll be able to smell our sweaty feet all week-end long!”

“Yeah, but seriously, I am to go first, we talked about this already.” Said Christine to the others. They started to talk over each other to determine who would actually wear Stephanie in their shoes first, and the argument went on, while Stephanie, silent, was trying to picture out what was truly happening. They had planned all of this? Shrinking pills? So many questions went through her confused head. She looked at Christine, then Christine’s feet and shoes, and suddenly she looked at all of them more closely, and at some point it felt like she wasn’t included in the discussion.

“Wait!” she said. The girls all shut up and looked at her. “What’s going on?”

“Steph…don’t worry, we just want to give you the time of your life. It’s totally safe, you’ll grow back to normal size by Sunday evening.” Said Kim. Cindy and Jade nodded. Christine walked closer and hugged Stephanie.

“Can I go first?” said Christine to her friend. “Please?... I mean, after all, you should be the one to decide I guess.”

“Me?” Stephanie was puzzled, a bit confused, and shy. She felt like if Shame was getting hold of her but her friends seemed to be so kind and understanding, they even planned out a whole week-end in which she would be inside their shoes to smell their feet while they dance during a music festival. She couldn’t believe how great her friends were and how she was lucky to have them. All her life her secret was so taboo, she was scared shitless at the idea of anyone knowing, and all of a sudden she was there, with people ready to let her indulge in her weird fantasies like if it was the most normal thing to do.

“Well, actually, Christine, you’ll go last.” She finally said with a smile. Christine looked shocked then smiled and rolled her eyes.

“Pick me!” said Kim.

“No pick me!” said Cindy.

“Jade, I’ll go in your shoes first, tomorrow morning. Then, you Kim, and then Cindy and then you Chris.” Said Stephanie. Jade actually stuck her tongue out at her friends and laughed. They kinda talked about how fun it would be and how the shrinking process is painless and lasts around 30 minutes. They all planned out everything so each and everyone of them would have Stephanie inside their sneaker one after the other over the weekend.

“Why am I last?” asked Christine.

“Because all of this is your fault.” Said Stephanie, unusually comfortable given the circumstances. They all laughed. It was getting late on that Friday night. They continued to talk.

“So what do you like actually? The smell?” asked Kim.

“I guess. I don’t know. It’s all a big mess in my head you know.” Said Stephanie.

“My feet don’t stink, so you’ll be fine.” Said Cindy.

“Mine don’t either” said Jade. “But I sweat a lot.”

“Oh well, my feet do stink, sometimes bad. I am sorry in advance.” Said Kim. “Plus, I’ll be wearing my old adidas sneakers so…” she added. They all started to talk about their sneakers. Kim had old adidas Superstars, Christine had Nike air max 90, all white, Jade had the old Britney spears Skechers and Cindy had some shoes with lights in the soles that would flicker while she danced, she bought them on ebay, no visible brand.

“It’s gonna be awesome.” Said Christine. “You just have to let go a bit of your fears okay Steph?”

“Yeah, I guess I have.” Said Stephanie.

“We’ll shrink you tomorrow morning, but for now, we need to get some good sleep!, Especially you!” said Jade.

Stephanie and her friends went to their respective rented beds and most of them just fell asleep right away. Stephanie was more stressed. She couldn’t close her eyes. She waited about one hour and she got up sneaky. She walked to the hall and crouched. She smelled each of her friend’s shoes, sometimes for a long time. She wanted to know which one smelled what, and once she had smelled all of the sneakers she would actually spend some time inside, she was good to sleep.

After all….She was in for the time of her life.
