Callisto v0.50 - Week 20 Update

On schedule, I released the v0.50 beta on Wednesday. Following some error reports from the Callisto Team, I have since rectified the offending parts of the code. These corrections whilst not game breaking, prompted me to upload a new beta v0.50b this morning. As mentioned previously, this beta includes all of the v0.50 content with the exception of the side mission and several of the lewd animations (alternative angles). A little frame from the v0.50 beta.

Whilst the last week was predominately spent writing code, the animation frames continued to render. At this point there is a little under 600 frames left to render. This will be completed in a little over 3 days. As such, not really worth posting the animation rendering progress, as there is no doubt it will be completed well before the official v0.50 release.

During this week, the software I utilise for rendering images (Daz3D), released a new version (4.14). It looks like this has some nice features moving forwards, however I am not going to start using it at this juncture. Instead, I will play around with 4.14 in beta form, following the release of the official v0.50. Based upon recent versions, it looks like the animation tools may have been improved, which will be of benefit when I attempt the pole dancing animations that will be included in v0.60.

As may be seen above, there is just the side mission and implementation of any code corrections resulting from beta testing. As the script / code for the side mission is already complete, I know that there is roughly 350 stills and 3 animations remaining to be completed. This leaves me to complete approximately 25 stills per working day, to complete v0.50. Just a matter of posing characters, in sets that for the most part are already created.
