Pink
Added 2019-07-06 15:37:09 +0000 UTCThere was an awkwardly long silence. "Simon?" She said. "Simon, are you okay?" There was no answer from the small man inside her pink hiking boots. Fact is, she just walked 5 miles in the woods with him inside those boots under her right foot. "Oh well, maybe you need some rest now...." She looked down at the unconscious little man and to make sure he would be comfortable, she removed her pink sock and stuffed it in her shoe above him.
She found him in the same position the next morning....but he wasn't breathing anymore.
