Vote on Nina's Fossil Pokemon

For those of you who need a reference,

Here is an Amaura,

Rock and Ice Type

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Amaura_(Pok%C3%A9mon)

And here is a Shieldon,

Rock and Steel Type

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shieldon_(Pok%C3%A9mon)

Not gonna lie, I wanted to put Tyrunt in the poll but I have a feeling I know a lot of you are going to choose it. And frankly, I'm not ready to give Nina another Dragon just yet.

And before you ask, the Kanto fossils are no good. I wanted to give Nina a proper proper dinosaur, you know?

Cranidos would have also been a choice but pure Rock Type is a little too boring. Anorith would have been cool too but I don't know how to write those buggers just yet.

As usual with these polls, the choice that wasn't pick won't be abandoned. We may or may not come back to them in the future should circumstances permit.

Feel free to leave ideas and suggestions down below as well. I won't be implementing them immediately since I am already writing the chapters, but might use them in the future.

This one will be naturally hatched from a Fossil Egg, not some unholy chimeric abomination. So unfortunately, none of the chimera fossils are in consideration. Maybe we'll meet them somewhere down the line though.

Arctazolt would have been good, two typings she doesn't have

I did seriously consider Lileep. And the fact that it's also a sea-plant makes it very appealing. But Dhelmise has already filled most of that niche. Also, I don't know if I'll be able to resist writing some inappropriate jokes about those tentacles. As for the meta-stats, it was never a priority. But yes, having a proper tank would be nice. And in my mind, the Bastiodon line are incredible diggers and bulldozers as well, which would be good to have. Whereas the practical applications of an Amaura would be much more limited. But both choices are equal. I can go either way, really. Hence the poll.

The biggest issue i have with Amura is the number of weaknesses it has as well as its lack of resistances, it has two 4x weaknesses and four 2x weaknesses, whereas Ahieldon also has two 4x weaknesses it only has one 2x weakness. on the other side Amura has four 2x resistances, whereas Shieldon has six 2x resistances and two 4x resistances. outside of pure typing the Amura line has a better base stat total though it is pretty average across the board other then having some ok hp. Shieldons line has limited attacks but amazing defenses and (there is no getting around it) slow. I might have suggested Cradilly because one of them with storm drain is just mean at times, but you did say you wanted a dinosaur and im not sure a plant would count.
