[QUESTION] Exclusive Paid Mods
Added 2023-05-25 09:34:30 +0000 UTCHi! I'd like to ask You for Your opinion on certain matter. I had a thought recently... There are so many cool, quirky and interesting cars that deserve our attention, but never got released in any game. And since Assetto modbase is pretty much made of converts, that significantly limits our capabilities. I'd like to change that and bring these amazing machines into our favourite sim.
To be specific: I'd like to buy the car model with a licence to use it. That would allow me to create cars exclusive to Assetto Corsa. However, that stuff can be quite expensive. I can use the funds I raised so far at Patreon to afford the first one, but that takes away the whole budget for the next similar projects, which so far I gathered in course of a full year. So, I wonder, would You be willing to actually buy a mod for, let's say, 5$? If at least few of You would be interested, I could make this kind of special release every few months, where every mod pays off the next one. It's worth to mention that it would be the additional, bonus work, and I'm still willing to release new free mods every month, I do not plan to change it any time soon! ^^
The first car I have in mind is Hyundai RN22e, which is basically the prototype of Ioniq 6 N, presented together with N-Vision 74. Another picks for the future are Mazda MX-30 R-EV, Saab Sonett V4 or Polish Fiat 125/126. Which, after consulting with my friend, makes me question the idea even more, since they're less popular that M4 or any JDM ever, lol.
So, I'm counting on Your honest opinion! Would You be interested, or are You only using free mods? Is the price fine? Do you have any thoughts, or interesting cars that You'd like to see? Let me know, I appreciate every single opinion, both in comments and in the poll itself! Thanks! π
