Seven Sins System Chapter 538. F This Shit!

Seven Sins System Chapter 538. F This Shit!

The threat was enough to silence them—for the moment, anyway. I sighed, slouching back in my chair.

"How much longer do you think this will drag on?" I asked Luci.

"Long enough for me to regret not bringing a book," he replied, swirling his bloodwine.

I stared at the scene in front of me—Berith fuming, Gremory preening, and Belial grinning like the devil he was—and felt a pang of sympathy for my father. He was trying to hold hell together while the rest of us sat here, snacking and spectating.

"At least it’s not boring," I muttered to myself, already dreading the next round of drama.

And right on cue, Asmo’s voice rang out from his laptop, a mix of exasperation and amusement. "Alright, I’m bored," he said, leaning back in his velvet chaise and swirling his champagne. "How about this? Let’s settle this with a threesome. Whoever can satisfy Gremory better wins."

The room froze.

Luci, mid-sip of his bloodwine, choked and sputtered, nearly spilling the crimson liquid all over his lap. I, unfortunately, wasn’t much better, nearly inhaling a piece of Beel’s infernal barbecue. My coughing fit was loud enough to echo through the chamber.

"What the actual hell, Asmo?" I managed to croak, pounding my chest to clear my throat.

"What?" Asmo said, raising a perfectly sculpted eyebrow. "It’s a fair suggestion. Direct. Efficient. And, let’s be honest, entertaining."

I groaned, dragging a hand down my face. "You’re going to make this worse, you know that, right?"

"It’s already a mess," he said with a shrug. "Might as well spice it up."

Belial, predictably, was the first to chime in. "I’m in," he said, his smirk widening as he stepped forward. "I’ve got nothing to lose, and let’s be honest—Berith wouldn’t stand a chance anyway."

Berith bristled, his aura flaring as he glared at Belial. "You insufferable—"

"Oh, shut up, Berith," Gremory interrupted, her tone sharp enough to cut glass. "Asmo’s just trying to get a free show, and I’m not a fan of public sex. So no, I’m not entertaining this nonsense."

Asmo pouted dramatically. "Aw, Gremory, don’t be such a buzzkill. It was just a suggestion."

"A terrible one," I muttered, shaking my head.

Unfortunately, Asmo’s little suggestion had already fanned the flames. Berith and Belial were squaring off, their tempers flaring as their demonic power began to ripple through the room. Their humanoid forms started to shift, their true forms bleeding through.

Berith’s armor seemed to grow and meld with his body, jagged spikes forming along his shoulders and arms. His crimson eyes glowed brighter, and flames began to lick at his feet, spreading outward.

Belial’s transformation was more insidious. His shadow stretched and twisted, curling around him like living smoke. His eyes gleamed with a dark, predatory light, and his smirk turned downright sinister.

"Here we go," I muttered, leaning back in my chair as the tension in the room skyrocketed.

The fire from Berith’s aura began to spread, creeping across the floor in dangerous waves. Belial’s shadow tendrils snaked out to meet it, the two forces clashing with a hiss and crackle that made the air feel heavy.

Gremory, for her part, simply crossed her arms and watched them with a mix of irritation and amusement. "You two are ridiculous," she said, but even her aura was starting to pulse, her fiery dress flickering like real flames.

"This is going to get bad in a snap," Luci said, his voice dry as he set his drink aside and conjured a small barrier around himself.

Beel didn’t stop eating but raised a shimmering shield around his chair. "Better safe than sorry," he mumbled through a mouthful of food.

Mammon didn’t even look up from his documents, casually erecting a barrier with a flick of his wrist. Belphegor, still curled around his pillow, lazily extended one hand to create his own shield before promptly going back to sleep.

Asmo glanced around, his expression suddenly a bit more serious. "Hey, guys," he said, waving around. "Can someone throw up a barrier for me? I’d rather not lose this connection."

I sighed, snapping my fingers to summon a shield around his laptop. The shimmering black energy wrapped around it, keeping it safe from the growing chaos.

"Thanks, El," Asmo said, giving me a cheeky grin through the screen.

"Don’t mention it," I muttered, focusing back on the brewing disaster in the center of the court.

The fire and shadows were now clashing in earnest, the temperature in the room rising as the two powers fought for dominance. The walls of the chamber groaned under the strain, cracks forming in the obsidian pillars as the heat and pressure mounted. My father, seated on his throne, observed the chaos with an expression of calm detachment. Then, his eyes turned to me, sharp and deliberate, as if silently saying, ‘Your move.’

I straightened, my stomach sinking.

Okay, I officially took back that pang of sympathy I’d felt for my dad earlier. Clearly, I’d been directing it at the wrong person. The real victim here was me.

He leaned back, his massive frame radiating an air of lazy authority, and said, "Consider this part of your training, Azrael."

‘Training, my ass!’ This was his way of dodging responsibility. But of course, who better to handle a room full of angry demons than the lord of wrath himself?

Luci caught on immediately. He sipped his bloodwine and smirked. "Guess that’s your cue."

I gritted my teeth, standing so fast my chair scraped against the stone floor. "Yeah," I muttered, my voice low and tight with irritation. "Fuck this shit!"

Without a second thought, I slammed my fist into the heavy stone table in front of me. The force was enough to snap it clean in two, the sound echoing through the chamber like a thunderclap. Beel, ever vigilant about his food, snatched his plate just in time to save it from the wreckage.

"SILENCE!" I boomed, my voice amplified by my rising fury.

The room went dead quiet. Even Berith and Belial froze mid-clash, their auras dimming slightly as they turned to face me.
