The Incubus System Chapter 1009. The Demon Prince's Offer

The Incubus System Chapter 1009. The Demon Prince's Offer

I snapped my fingers and summoned my power. ‘Illusion!’ I commanded in my mind, and immediately, my demonic energy rippled from my fingertips, spreading out like a dark wave across the room.

The atmosphere changed instantly, cloaking us in an unnatural silence, a strange stillness that made it feel like the room had become soundproof. Outside, anyone trying to enter would only see Zalira making out with me, nothing more. We were hidden in plain sight.

Luckily, there were no CCTVs here. Those damn devices had always been a nuisance since I turned into an incubus.

Zalira’s expression shifted almost immediately. Her brows furrowed in confusion, her senses attuned to the change in the air. She realized something was different, that something beyond her understanding was at play. “You…You can use magic?” she asked, her voice tinged with shock, disbelief flashing in her eyes.

I pressed my index finger to her lips, silencing her before she could voice any more of her surprise. A smirk spread across my face, widening into a more confident grin. “Not just magic, Your Majesty,” I replied in a low, almost seductive voice. “I can do much more than that,” I added.

‘Demonic Form activated…’

My horns sprouted from my head, curling menacingly. My eyes shifted from their normal hue to a deep, burning red, glowing with an otherworldly light. A pair of bat wings unfurled behind me, stretching wide, casting a shadow across the room. My tail emerged, curling with a mind of its own, flicking with anticipation.

Zalira’s eyes widened in horror, the color draining from her face. Her initial confidence, the smugness, the playful mockery—all of it vanished in an instant as she took in the full sight of me. She had wanted a challenge, something to break the monotony of her life as a queen, but she hadn’t expected this.

“The Prince of the Dark Dimension,” I introduced myself. “Damian Lucio Malignus,” I continued, my grin widening, “at your service.”

Her mouth opened slightly, whether to scream, to speak, or to simply breathe, I couldn’t tell. The shock was evident, the fear stark on her beautiful face. She had underestimated me, and now she was faced with a reality far beyond what she had imagined.

I leaned in closer, my face just inches from hers, my breath hot against her skin. “I will make sure you experience a night you will never forget,” I whispered, each word dripping with dark promise. “I will satisfy you, Zalira…” I called her name directly, dropping the formalities. It was a clear indication that I no longer considered myself beneath her.

She swallowed hard, her fear evident, but there was something else in her eyes now—something darker, something that lingered on the edge of fear and fascination. She had sought power, control, and challenge, and now she had found all three in a way she had not anticipated.

Her breath quickened, her chest rising and falling with a mix of fear and excitement. “You’re… a demon,” she whispered, her voice barely audible, but the words carried the realization, of the danger she was in.

“Yes,” I replied, my voice calm and confident, with an edge that spoke of the power I wielded. “And you… you wanted a partner who could match you in every way. I am that partner. I am more than any mortal man, more than even you could handle. But you wanted to see my worst, didn’t you?”

She hesitated, her eyes locked onto mine, searching for some hint of deception, some sign that this was all a trick. But there was none. My confidence was clear, my presence commanding. The flicker of fear and curiosity in her gaze only grew stronger as she realized the situation. She was a queen, used to being in control, but now the tables had turned.

“Malignus,” Zalira whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of awe and fear. The realization seemed to hit her hard, her eyes widening. “Does that mean… you are—” She started to speak again but halted, unable to finish her thought, her mind racing to catch up with the revelation.

“Yes,” I confirmed, my smirk widening, enjoying the shock that played across her face. “Damon Arcano Malignus is my father. The Demon King himself.”

Her breath caught in her throat, a mix of terror and fascination in her eyes. She knew the stories, the legends. Every human did. To have the son of the Demon King standing before her, his demonic form fully revealed, was beyond anything she could have expected. And yet, here I was, not just in her presence but offering her something she never could have imagined.

“But you don’t have to worry,” I continued smoothly, my voice calm and reassuring, yet carrying the same edge of power that I knew would keep her on the edge of her seat. “I’m not here to destroy the human world or anything. Quite the opposite. I’m here to save it.”

Zalira blinked, her mind trying to process the conflicting information. The son of the Demon King, here to save the human world? It was a contradiction she wasn’t prepared for, and I could see her struggling to reconcile it with what she knew—or thought she knew—about demons.

“Save it?” she echoed, her voice barely above a whisper, her skepticism clear despite the fear still lingering in her tone. “Why would a demon prince want to save the human world?”

I leaned closer, my wings folding slightly as I moved, casting shadows across the room. “Because, Zalira,” I said softly, my voice dropping to a low, seductive purr, “the world is changing. There are forces at play that even my father does not control. The balance between our worlds is delicate, and if it tips too far one way or the other, we all lose.”

She seemed to consider this, her eyes flicking between my face and the demonic features that marked me as something otherworldly. She was curious, intrigued despite herself. I could see the questions forming behind her eyes, the doubts and fears that warred with her growing interest.

“That’s why I’m offering this special contract to you, Zalira,” I continued, my tone still soft but laced with power. “A partnership, if you will. I offer you power, knowledge, and protection—everything you could ever desire.”
