Ruby shook her head, her gaze falling slightly. "Larry. He said it to me," she admitted, her voice tinged with a mixture of resignation and sadness. She let out a small, bitter chuckle before continuing. "It was a slip-up when I beat him up to get him to say where you were," she explained, her words laced with a touch of ruefulness. "It seemed like he was trying to keep me away from you. I guess he thinks I'm that dangerous," she added, a note of sadness coloring her tone.
