The Incubus System Chapter 913. She Has No Choice But To Obey You

The Incubus System Chapter 913. She Has No Choice But To Obey You

"Yes," I admitted, my voice tinged with a hint of frustration. "Maybe there was something in her past that caused her to be like that. I mean, she never talks about her parents or anything," I mused, furrowing my brow in contemplation.

"You don't know about that yet? Haven't you already gone through her head?" she inquired, her curiosity evident in the quirk of her eyebrow.

Celia's question brought me back to the present, and I turned to face her, raising an eyebrow in response. I let out a sigh, shaking my head slightly. "Using my Mind Corruption skill doesn't mean I know someone's entire life story," I explained, my tone tinged with exasperation. "Going through someone's head is already torture for me. I'm not a fan of it, and I won't take information I don't need," I added firmly, feeling a shiver run down my spine at the mere thought of delving into someone's mind unnecessarily. "My head is going to explode from that," I grumbled, taking a bite of my sandwich in an attempt to dispel the tension that had settled in the room.

Despite my frustration, I couldn't help but wonder about Ruby's past and what had led her to become the person she was today. It was a mystery that lingered in the back of my mind, a puzzle waiting to be solved.

“That's why you're in a sour mood every time you come back from a night hunt,” Celia remarked, her voice laced with concern.

I glanced at her, nodding in acknowledgment of her observation. “Yeah,” I admitted, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "I have to admit this skill is a blessing but also a curse," I confessed, turning to face Celia directly. Our eyes met, and I could see the genuine worry reflected in her gaze.

“Ya know," I began, my tone thoughtful as I mulled over my words. “The more I know about humans and how corrupted they are, I think the demon world is actually not that bad. We are only afraid because they eat humans. But once we become one of them and have the power to defend ourselves, it's not bad either," I explained, a hint of realization creeping into my voice.

Celia let out a long sigh, her expression troubled as she absorbed my words. “What you say also applies in the human world, brother. Just replace power with money and authority," she remarked, her tone tinged with irony. I couldn't help but nod in agreement, acknowledging the truth in her statement.

I couldn't help but reflect on the complexities of the world we inhabited. It was a world where power and corruption often went hand in hand, and navigating its intricacies required a delicate balance of strength and wisdom.

A long exhale also came out of my mouth as I contemplated Celia's question. "You're right. So simply the demon world and the human world are the same," I conceded, my voice tinged with sadness. "It's so sad since I used to think the human world is a better place than the demon world," I admitted, feeling a pang of disappointment at my previous naivety.

Foxy chimed in, offering her perspective. "This world has a different culture from the demon world," she pointed out, her voice calm and measured.

I nodded in agreement. "Yes. Both are unique," I acknowledged, recognizing the validity of their points.

Celia, however, seemed determined to delve deeper into the topic. "Okay. Back to the topic," she interjected, her tone firm. It was clear she wasn't going to let me off the hook that easily. "About Ruby, what do you plan to do with her? I know she has become your servant, and you know doing 'that' is not a problem for you. I'm sure she has also accepted your terms and conditions. But I know you're not the type who can sleep with a woman without feelings," she pressed, her gaze unwavering as she scrutinized my reaction.

“Wait, he doesn't do that? He's an incubus," Buni exclaimed, his eyebrows shooting up in surprise as he leaned forward.

"King of incubus," Rave interjected proudly, puffing out his chest.

Celia couldn't resist adding her two cents. "Surprise, right?" she teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

I shrugged, feeling a bit awkward under their scrutiny. "I guess I'm just not like other demons," I mumbled, rubbing the back of my neck.

Buni's expression softened, his curiosity piqued. "So, what's your plan then?" he asked, leaning back in his chair.

I hesitated for a moment, contemplating my options. "I'll just... figure it out," I replied, my voice tinged with uncertainty. My mind was already racing with potential solutions, but none of them seemed foolproof.

Celia nodded in understanding, her gaze thoughtful. "Maybe talking to her is a good first step," she suggested, her voice gentle. "Communication is key, right?"

I nodded in agreement, feeling a bit more hopeful at the suggestion. "Yeah, I wonder if it will work," I admitted, my voice trailing off as I mulled over the possibility. It was worth a shot, at least.

“She is your servant, she has no choice but to obey you,” Foxy reiterated, her tone confident and reassuring. "It will definitely work," she added, nodding firmly.

I sighed, acknowledging her point. "Yeah, you're right," I conceded, running a hand through my hair once again. It was a comforting thought, knowing that Ruby would follow my orders without question. But there was a part of me that hesitated, a part that didn't want to take advantage of her loyalty.

Turning to Foxy, I locked eyes with her, a sense of vulnerability creeping into my expression. "But have I ever ordered something that goes against your hearts?" I questioned, searching for reassurance in her response. If I never did it to her, I wouldn’t do it to Ruby either.

Foxy's expression softened, her eyes reflecting a mixture of understanding and empathy. She shook her head slowly, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "No, you haven't," she replied softly, her voice gentle. "You've always respected our feelings and boundaries, even when you had the authority not to."
