The clock struck 08.03 PM, I was standing atop the tallest building in Lightglen City, my eyes fixed on the breathtaking view that stretched out before me. The city lights shimmered below like a sea of stars, casting a neon glow against the darkness of the night sky. The small houses and buildings looked like tiny dots from this vantage point, a bustling microcosm of human activity nestled amidst the vastness of the urban landscape. The glow of streetlights and car headlights painted intricate patterns on the streets, a dance of light and shadow that wove its way through the city's veins.

I once again embarked on our nightly hunting routine with my pets. But again, I didn’t bring Foxy along. Celia was in a fragile state of mind after her second recent emotional breakdown. I had managed to calm her down, but I knew that she needed someone to watch over her. Besides, I couldn't risk exposing her to any more danger, especially after the information I had gleaned from Mrs. Clea.

After Mrs. Clea had revealed to me some unsettling truths about the association, I couldn't bear the thought of her getting caught in the crossfire. But I couldn’t say much either due to her unstable emotion, I had chosen to keep her in the dark for now, using my telepathic abilities to relay the information only to Foxy. Besides that, Celia already said that she would cook dinner with Foxy and I hoped that could divert her attention and cheer her up.

Despite my worries and the weight of the information I carried, I couldn't afford to let my guard down. With a determined stride, I stepped through the portal, leaving the city behind me.

The dark path that lay before me was familiar. With a wave of my hand, I canceled my demonic form, hiding my horns, tail, and wings. I was once again Damian Lucio, the prince of Ledred, the man favored by the elusive and enigmatic Lady of Ledred.

It was always a little strange to me how my persona differed in the human world compared to the dark dimension. In the dark dimension, I was known as the prince of darkness, feared and respected by many. But in the human world, I was known as the prince of Ledred, the only one who could subdue the Kraken lady.

I emerged from the portal in a dark alley in the infamous Ledred district. I walked out of the alley, my steps casual and confident, blending in seamlessly with the nocturnal activities of the district.

I made my way. The sound of my footsteps echoed against the pavement, a rhythmic cadence that matched the beat of the city's nightlife. With a flick of my wrist, I used my Demon's Clothes skill. My simple T-shirt and jeans transformed into a sleek and stylish suit.

The suit fit me perfectly, accentuating my tall and lean frame, and exuding an air of sophistication that matched my reputation as the prince of Ledred. I adjusted my cuffs, straightened my tie, and made sure every detail was in place.

I stopped in front of the entrance of the alley, my sharp eyes taking in the scene around me.
