2 things. When this episode originally aired, Gabi's Japanese VA got death threats. Secondly, I always get chills after what Conny says when the music starts playing.

Yeah Eren did laugh but it was more because of unbelief how she even died thinking of what she loved most. It did hurt Eren, he cared for Sasha. She was his friend... He is just so desensitized by death he laughs before crying now.

It’s also supposed to show how broken and desensitized he is from death. Despite having seen everything played out when touching Historia, Sasha still dies. His laugh is him kinda snapping because he realizes he can’t change anything or save ALL the ones dearest to him

Eren DID laugh. :( As I understand it, from when he laughed when the Smiling Titan killed Hannes, when he's so under duress and going through it emotionally.. he'll laugh like that out of frustration and anguish.
