- For page nine I started off with posing a 3D model. I used a lot of anime running references to make this pose look how it looks.
- Over time after detailing and redrawing this pose I ended up with this. After completing the pose I cleaned it up so that it would be ready for outlining.
- After finishing the outlining the pose, I decided to experiment with screentone gradients and textures that are already in Clip Studio Paint's library. So after experimenting with different textures, this was what I came up with.
- Eventually I roughed out and completed the face I decided to learn how to shade a character. I asked one of my artist friends to help me out with how this should be shaded. After some talking I got to work on making a rough guide on where the light is and where the shadows are.
- A while later I shaded the pose I added a 3D brick floor and converted the model into line art, then I added a gradient for the floor and added a shadow. Then I decided to take it one step further by blurring the image to make it more of a romantic feeling. Finally I added the speech bubbles and then exported the page as a PNG.
