Game 7 - Working Progress - Page 14 + 15

- Here's the rough sketches for pages fourteen and fifteen. What I wanted was the two main characters to be relaxing, eating noodles while reading manga in a anime themed restraunt, until an unexpected and unwelcomed guest comes along to ruin that.

- Straight after sketching I decided to focus on the two smallest panels. What I did was I used 3D objects of a bowl and a coffee can, convert them into lineart, add some materials and textures to make them look less boring, then I copied the background and moved the layer ontop of the lineart so I could erase it part of it to give it that dreamy look.

- Afterwards I got to work with all the backgrounds and setting up the 3D models. While setting up everything I roughed out the poses for the middle and bottom right panel of page fifteen.

- I started detailing the poses for page fourteen, the only reason why I started with this page was mostly because there was only two poses to draw and the rest of the page was mostly 3D objects converted into lineart.

- After outlining both panels I edited the middle panel to so that it wouldn't stick out, I added some steam for the food for the panels that have bowls in them. Then I added the material I wanted for the bottom right panel. While finishing this page off I decided to add a speech bubble for the bottom right panel.

- Then I got to work on page fifteen. I started detailing all the poses which had 3D models in poses I wanted. For the two poses that were drawn I ended up completing a head of time so that I could focus on the rest of the panels. At that moment in time I was experimenting with new screentones.

- This is the finished results for inking all three panels. After outlining those panels I experimented a bit more with these new screentones and I ended with this result you see here.
