sadness - streetlight

i made this starting with the guitar intro after the night before i had ocme up with the guitar line in a park at night. at first iimagined making a song called "on a warm may night" or osmething like that (in the same vein as spring twilight) but for wathever reason i just didnt revisit the idea for a long time until i repurposed the intro recording for this greater song, which is about how beautiful streetlights are at night

seamless our bodies into the sky
only soft little lights adorning the horizon
towards them lifting higher and higher
is the sensation of burning stars in my veins
at some seamless point they become yours too
at some point in the night everything is so seamless
you and i are seamless
all i see are the orange stars in your eyes
just warm light
warm light everywhere
in pockets of spring night
in the innumerable moments blooming from unforgetable memories
and why would i want to forget
