trhä - taj tu dëhajdsëja bë

I actually finished this weeks ago but I didn't share it because I wasn't sure if I wanted to add vocals. probably not going to end up doing that, and even if I do I guess you can still listen to this version. I'm going on a trip for two weeks so in that time I won't be able to work on music or anything but I'll be open to answering questions on more Q/As and I'll take requests for publishing lyrics/song backstories/deep dives.

if you know my discography well you'll recognize this song as ||| ||||||| by nänmëë. I made this one day in april 2015. in 2020 when I was working on the album endlhëtonëg I actually fully intended on remaking this song for trhä and using this exact title, but I never ended up doing that. the original song was truly one of the most magical things I've ever made. I felt a very profound resonance the moment I started recording it. it truly sounded exactly like the spaces in my soul. for the trhä version I used all the original recordings but fixed things up, added more synths, and real drums (and changed the guitar tone). this song is truly magical. it's going to appear on the new Trhä album (truly magical stuff) which is almost done I just have to add vocals to a couple tracks and finish the first track. I won't be able to release it before my trip (on wedensday) but tomorrow I"m going to try and record the vocals and I acn release at least two more of the songs. "taj tu dëhajdsëja bë" means "the key to the magicrealm" (taj = key, tu = the, dëhaj = magic, = dsëja = realm, = bë means "to" in this context at least, doesn't have a direct english translation)

Comments

Wow, this song in beautiful, very magical indeed, the title is actually translatable to a language in this world too, taj tu dëhajdsëja bë is Albanian for "You're your godfather" lol nice

ooh ok, thats right

Moongazer

yes but trhä means key in a different language trhä - luclürh taj - hadlhaj

Damián Ojeda

this is so magical doesn't trhä also mean key? if so, are trhä and taj interchangeable based on context/structure of a given sentence
