omfg I was so annoyed for like a week. the day I finished recording vocals for this song my hard drive started acting up and giving me problems and I ended up having to take it in to extract the data and put it on a new one wnd they told me that would take 3 - 5 days and ended up taking 8 days which is really annoying because I literally am moving in like 5 days from now and i have to get this done right now. but anyway, I'm going to be posting a lot of songs that I wasn't able to post over the past week

the guitars for this song were recorded probably january 2021, but then I lost my files. actually i have no idea when I recorded it but it was probably then. but then of course i lost the files so I was stuck with that guitar tone, but at least I hadn't recorded anything else so later on I was able ot add drums and bass and vocals. I wrote the lyris earilyer this month but the melody I had in my head for a year. i'm not going to be able to focus hard on any of these posts and talking about all the details because my mind is in complete chaos since Ii'm in overdrive mode to get everything done so I can move out of here. but basically this song is about beautiful feelings associated with deep parts of me in my past and present and beautiful nightime and streetlights and empty roads and things i can't explain with words right now and being in love with my gf

I feel like this mix is sooooooooo bad but I'm not going to sstreess myself out about it. if anything maybe I'll rerecord the song one day, this would be a cool song to record with accessible production and well recorded vocals that are actually mixed right

there's so much more I could say about this song because it's really deep and personal to me and there's this special fire in it that I could talk endlessly about but right now my head is just lmao no i cnannot
