sadness - a minor pain

in my previous post I talk about another song off of this EP that I made one day when I was trying to write songs for this band I was in that never ended up happening back in 2016. years later I got my friend ryn smith to record vocals (harsh vocals) but I still never released the songs for years because I never actually finished the album. there were 3 more songs that I never actually fully finished and didn't even have any vocals or ideas for vocals done, but I decided that I don't even want to revisit those songs for another while, and trhe songs I did end up finishing I'll release them now as an EP. I don't have the lyrics and I also didn't write them. the song is called "a minor pain" because before I even had any vocals or anything I called it "a minor pain" because the song is in a minor and it sounds like pain. that wasn't intentionally interpretable as "a minor pain" but when I sat with ryn to record vocals we thought that it made a nice song topic and I like it as a title. I think the sound of the song reflects this idea in a way. that's also me singing. the vocals were recorded sometime early 2019 and like I always believe that I don't like messing with old music so much to try and "perfect" it or change it so far from the original idea, I'm keeping everything the way it was oirginally. I could add fills and change the tones or the mix a little bit but I don't like doing that. if these songs are as old as 2016 then they can also sound like they are from 2016, not 2022
