if you know my discography really well you'll recognize this song. originally recorded in summer of 2015 but a long time ago I had the idea of rerecording it, and only got around to doing it just now. the differences between this version and the original are that (like I mentioned in a recent post) this was recorded with the drums first and then everything else, specifically so I didn't have to use a click track, because I think recording to a click is lame. this came with problems when I realized I was playing the song a lot faster than I realized was easy to play on guitar (the riffs at around 4 minutes were pretty difficult), but I still really like this tempo. also the second half of the song had no vocals in the original for some reason, I tihink it's because I just never got around to adding them, I only ever worked on that song in a small timeframe and never revisited it.

this song is about really abstract emotions, particularly that I was feeling at the time. I made a lengthy post about this earlier too. maybe tomorrow I'll go more in depth , right now I'm too tired to think about something this complicated. I just want to release demo 5 already
