teal fits snug within the rest of the album, in which obviously I'm talking about rain. when I say "teal" im referring to this specific shade of green which i believed to be called teal at the time but later found out that teal is more blue? I don't know. it still fits becuase there's a certain beauty I wanted to capture in deep earth green, like vegetation at a pond, in the same way there's a beauty in a perfect uniform sky, which is blue, but not in the sense that it's clear and sunny. I mean humid skies on a slightly chilly day, where you feel the light drizzle in the air around you, and the sky becomes a perfect uniform clear blue. towards this sky I imagined ascending. I wanted to become one with the rain in the sky. this album touches on my obsession with water and the clarity I want to embody, as if floating in it, like a dream. being pure. absolute. clear
A single rain lands upon a young leaf
Shattering empty sound
Living the green in mother
Rays and colored earth geometry scatter in linear absolution
And submerging the water of dreams
Deep in the veins of lining aqua
The sky is a perfect teal, like the story of a thousand years of rain
embracing like march dream
I am carried
And leaves are erhëtrhenän
against the limal water of the sky
and distance is the clearest fog
through which I see the tears and glory of a thousand years
and the etched roots of her burning eye
----
dont ask me what "erhëtrhenän" means because I genuinely cannot remember at all
