Added 2021-10-21 21:33:01 +0000 UTCwhen I first released this song I mentioned how terrible it sounded. this version sounds better and is what you'll hear on the official album release. i think it would be really cool to one day record this professionally in a studio with an experienced audio engineer to really get a nice solid shoegaze production out of it. previous post I mention how this EP is now complete, and will drop on bandcamp soon

I know this post is so old now. But I just had to let you know that this song has literally rewired my brain. It was a life changer. Easily now one of my favorite songs of all time. When this song comes on, I am instantly ripped away from the world and taken into a world of dreams where I can comfortably contemplate spaces, shapes and colors in weightlessness. Like drifting down an empty airport terminal at twilight. A consciousness so focused and free from distractions and deadlines that you have time to appreciate what the architect really wanted out of the aesthetics and functionality of this space. Meditating, even if slightly in somberness, how designs and walls and roofs can make a person feel. Reading the lyrics, I couldn't help but draw my own feelings into them, and now I imagine again the appreciation regularly lost for the architecture of the human form designed in joint effort by possible mysterious creators, the universe, our environment, and ourselves. Every time I hear, "As you rest inside yourself" I imagine and legitimately feel a sense of such relief. Being able to be so at home in our own walls and in our own skin. To watch with wonder how the same light that graces the facets and reliefs of the most interesting spaces also indiscriminately gives people the same attention Such a roller coaster of emotions and a scope that feels immensely wide while remaining so focused and aware, all contained in just one single song. What a true talent you are. Thank you!
