sadness - your train is leaving

this song and "blue" form a new EP which is now finished entited "motionless, watching you". I'm sending it off to spotify and everything now, so once it reaches those platforms I will release the bandcamp. blue was 100% composed and recorded in june of this year, while "your train s leaving" I believe I started in august. at the end of july I started going through some heartbreaking events, but I think I only had the idea of making "your train is leaving" into a song but hadn't started recording anything. the most I probably did at the time was write the lyrics. I was way too sad to record anything anyway for a while, so it was probably mid august that I actually recorded the music. this song is about leaving, and the feeling of something that means so much to you slipping away from your hands. I was genuinely really upset, even the lyrics are terrible. I wrote few songs (lyrics) during this time and theyre all terrible but I genuinely had nothing else to say. they're hardly poetic theyre just desperate words. all I had was heartbreak. the good news is that that whole situation is fully resolved now, if it matters to anyone how I'm feeling now a days. the train sounds you hear at the end are actual recordings I took of the train I work on (my normal job is running a steam train).
