The things that make us happy

I had the pleasure of taking one of the comics sessions put on by Sequential Artists Workshop the other day and I love posting them here. The comics I make now are almost exclusively here on Patreon because they tend to be more personal than my usual social media nonsense.
The session was about list-based comics and using lists as a way to set up super simple frames. It was taught by Summer Pierre who is well worth checking out. We got to make lists of the things that bring us joy and it was such a sweet simple way to set up a little comic.
Every time I take a workshop like this I get SUCH joy out of spending the mindful time just working on a new concept or finessing a skill. The luxury of being able to spend that time is something YOU have all made possible. You support is what allows me to take a class, take a workshop, take a breath.
So take a bow Patrons, you’re making art happen every dang day and I am so very grateful.
What class / workshop would you be most excited to take?
