Hi Bill. Apologies for the delay in response. Patreon notifications aren't the best! Whichever way you choose to read is great for us! We do get royalties for KU reads, but that isn't necessary. We appreciate readers whether they're preordering here on Patreon, ordering on Amazon or accessing the books through KU. - Robin
