Patrons Only Comic: Meeting ourselves in our milestones

We are two weeks into the new year and the idea of goal setting is thick and fast around us. I love a good goal and I am constantly working towards them, but sometimes it's a strange experience to plan for future-me.
I like to think big - and when we recently hit a really significant goal I had here on Patreon, I found myself in shock that I was still this same person who set it. Wasn't I supposed to have figured everything out by the time I got this far? Where is that perfect version of me with shinier hair who can crank out great artwork, never make another spelling mistake and still somehow get enough sleep?
It takes some reconciling to realize that the perfect pinterest version of me is not only fictitious but unnecessary. I don't need to be perfect to get where I want to be.
So here's to the perfectly imperfect and the space to share it. Your support and belief is one of my favourite things to work for and it means the world that you're here. Thank you. All the time, over and over, again and again. Thank you.

My perfectionism comes out and I ultimately let myself down, because guess what I am human! Wow, what a concept? So for today, I am choosing to let myself be human, make mistakes, grow, learn, expand...thank you for being you, sweet friend!
