Hey beautiful Patrons! I am loving trying out these landscapes but man are they ever out of my comfort zone. Wanted to put up this little video over here for you folks first before it goes out on socials.
I had so much fun doing that sketchbook spread one I shared with you guys so wanted to try another. You can enjoy the combo of sped up painting and my chattering intermittently about what I'm doing (spoiler, it's a fair bit of guesswork).
No matter how long or how much I do this job I still have to practice and try stuff all the time with the full knowledge that I might not be successful right away. Now don't get me wrong - I actually really like the end result of this little painting. I think it's pretty cute. But it could JUST have easily turned into mush and that's cool too. Working this stuff out in my sketchbook is a big part of how I hone my skills as an artist.
Speaking of, it's directly thanks to YOU fine folks that I can dedicate time to things like sketchbook practice and especially to filming the process. Huge thank you to all of you for supporting me and the work I do. Enjoy the video you beautiful bunch.
Stay safe,
B
