Upcoming Patreon Page Changes
Added 2019-10-27 22:33:09 +0000 UTCJust a heads up, starting on Nov. 1st, I will be switching this page to "charge up front" method. Basically what this means is new patrons will be initially billed the day they sub (then the first of every month after if they continue), instead of the current method where new subs are not billed until the 1st of the following month if they continue their sub.
***If you are already currently subbed now, you will not be charged anything additional***
In fact you will have received all of October for free, since your upcoming Nov 1st charge will account for the month of November instead of October. The only thing that would incur an additional charge is if you upgrade from Support Model to Super Model after the change, you will be charged the difference right away.
I was initially hesitant to set up my page this way from the start and would have preferred to keep the flexibility of the monthly pledge, but it appears that Patreon's monthly 'pledge' system is misunderstood by a lot of users, and a lot of people expect that it already works like a 'pay up front' method anyway.
I apologize if this change is inconvenient for anyone.
