Moments before his death, Lina saw the look of surprise on his dumb face. His eyes widened for a few seconds, as he realized what had happened. Lina looked back into his eyes confidently. They both knew he was done for.. Moments later, the man lifelessly fell backwards with a THUD.
The men looked at the deceased body of their master, and were completely horrified. Their friend and mentor of many years, killed so easily… by a woman?…. How could this be?... and now this woman was going to take his place as their leader?.. the Grand Master of the National Combat Institute! Such were the ways of their society..
Never before had a woman held this position. Times were changing, and the men were in for one hell of a rude awakening.
The referee reluctantly raised Lina’s arm as she put her foot on the poor man’s body. As if it wasn’t obvious to everyone how easily she defeated this once great man, she made sure to let the image of her superiority be etched in the nation's minds forever.

She addressed the men of the institute: "I have issued a new edict. Any woman who challenges one of you to single combat and wins will be granted a place in the institute. I doubt any man here could survive such an encounter, so you may prefer to accept the shame of refusing a challenge and resign in disgrace. You would be branded a coward for the rest of your days, but you would live. I will enjoy watching those of you who choose to fight being broken and brutally beaten to death by your female opponents.
