The Decimation of Men's Basketball (Part 2)

(Read Decimation of Men's Basketball Part 1 First)

Everyone was suddenly interested in seeing “Battle of the Sexes” matches. After seeing the Fenlo girls demolish the men, people were in disbelief. It obviously couldn’t have been a fluke, I mean the final score was 643-0. But people were nevertheless interested and the media obliged them.

The Men and their Managers realized that their days as basketball stars were numbered. No one was going to want to watch Men’s basketball soon, since the people could watch a thousand times more skill displayed at a women’s basketball game.

This is why when the media offered the men enormous amounts of money to play women’s college teams, they had to accept. They had to make money now, because they probably won’t be able to in the near future. At first the men hoped that it was just some weird miracle that the Fenlo women demolished their champions, but the subsequent games proved quite the opposite.

The match was between Eniso Women’s College vs Men’s Pro league Rank # 2 team.

Final score: 722-0

Fenlo was one of the lowest ranked Women’s teams, whereas Eniso was quite a bit higher up. Turns out, it was no fluke, the men suffered an even more devastating and humiliating defeat this time around.

At the end of a game, the two teams are supposed to line up and shake hands, showing respect to each other. The girls were trying really hard not to laugh at the pathetic display of “Basketball” from these men all game. To say this was the easiest game that girls ever had would be an understatement. The girls tried to hide their smiles and giggles as they shook the hands of the men that they just dominated.

Zoe: Good game guys.

The embarrassed men stood there, sadly shaking the hands of women that just demolished them.

Joe (trembling voice): uhh, good..game.

You could tell Joe and his teammates were beyond embarrassed and barely holding it together. Two other girls followed Zoe in repeating “Good Game” to the guys in the row, trying their best not to make them feel bad. The next girl after that however, couldn’t help herself….

Jen: Yea, good game guys.. Close one! Pffft…

Jen almost burst out laughing from her own sarcastic comment. The rest of the girls erupted into laughter and giggles, some more successful at hiding it than others. What’s more is that the audience members heard this as well, and a wave of laughter swam across the stadium.

The men who were already embarrassed beyond belief, were now being traumatized by the humiliating laughter. It was not only the stadium audience though, their humiliation was being televised to millions of people across the nation.

Zoe: OMG guys that one is crying!

Zoe couldn't help but giggle, trying to hide it still, but not successfully. She spoke kind of loudly since the stadium was now deafening because of the audience’s laughter.

Lisa (whispering angrily): Shhhhh, Zoe stop! they can still hear you!

Lisa was the captain and tried to quiet the girls down out of respect for the sport. But they could all tell that even Lisa was barely suppressing her laugh. She was just holding it together with a combination of a smile, and a faint look of pity for the men.

A few of the other men got teary eyed out of shame. The Men’s Coach and Manager decided to rush them out of the facility before the media could ask them questions.

Needless to say, this was another match that put a dagger in the heart of the Men’s basketball scene.

After the game, back in the locker room, the girls could finally talk freely.

Jen: I’m pretty sure the 10 year olds I coach are better than that LOL.

All the girls joined Jen in laughing. It was true of course! Most of the women went back and forth agreeing that stealing the ball from the men was easier than stealing it from the 5th graders that the women coached in their free time.

Lisa: So at 10 years old, girls are already far better than men can ever be? Goodness! No wonder they kept us away from sports this long!

All the girls laughed some more after that thought, and we all know what eventually transpired, killing the idea of anyone wanting to watch Men’s basketball forever.

Similar events were taking place over other disciplines as well. Particularly devastating was boxing. You would think Men have an advantage because of their strength. But the speed and skill of women, it seems, is too overwhelming for the men, even when it comes to combat sports. Which means that once a woman is trained in combat, she is a far deadlier threat than any man. This will change the social structure of society forever.
