Iโm very glad for you that the class was rescheduled, and I know exactly how it feels to have that feeling of relief at not having to cut corners! My only suggestions are to 1) write in a journal every day and 2) follow Eminemโs example and treat lyric-making like a job.
The guitar class sounds fun, I hope having a mix-up in your creativity will help break up any creative blocks before they start!
