Updates: Reward Tier Changes & Discord Chat For Patreons

Hello everyone!!!

It's been awhile since my last update. I have recently moved and that has caused a fair bit of headache to get everything setup again in the new office. With the new space I have decided to streamline everything and Patreon was the first place I looked to.

I have completely changed the reward tiers on Patreon. I know for some, this may leave you disappointed. I had to axe the PSN friend reward. I thought it was a great idea but unfortunately having a full friends list on the PS4 creates numerous headaches as games sometimes just don't work and my friends list actually never fully loaded. However, with the upcoming 5.0 software, you can follow my PSN (PS_4Trophies) without needing to add each other as friends. This allows me to ditch the friends tier and saves me a ton of frustration.

One new addition is Discord. I have setup a PS4Trophies Discord server, something I have yet to publicly announce and I am allowing you all access into it. Discord, is a all-in-one voice and text chat which works with your desktop PCs and phones. It's basically a gamer's replacement to Skype and TeamSpeak. It is here that we can build a trophy hunting community. There are text channels to discuss anything, talk about trophies or to find other players to help with online trophies. I also have a Patreon exclusive chat channel just for you and me and this is available to everyone, including the $1 tier. Anyone at the $5 tier or above will also become a full PS4Trophies Discord server moderator* as well. If you use Discord, join the server and if you don't know what Discord is, check it out. In a recent Twitter poll, 40% of my followers use Discord. I will be in the Patreon channel quite often, so it's a good place for us to chat.
