2023-09-07 19:26:32 +0000 UTCMostly an excuse for Robin Williams joyful riffing, it did quietly make the point that the US was siding with the bad guys during a popular revolution by framing it as being "anti communist". At the time, hardly anyone in the west understood what was happening in Vietnam.
